Having ‘checked in’ at various Sports and Social Media conferences in a few cities over the last year (and eyeing the calendar for the next cool place to drop in and talk shop) we thought, ‘Hold the phone (plane) – why aren't we getting together with sports social media people here?”
The answer to that of course is somebody’s gotta get that ball rolling. Sooooo, we’re hoping we can all get together for a few of our favourite things: Watching sports, drinking beer, and connecting with cool sports tweeps.
The Charles Bar has generously provided the space and we're hoping to take advantage of the $3.99 Rickard's beer specials they'll have going for us.
Lets Do This Thing!
Anyone interested and active in Sports and Social Media is welcome to come and connect with others from the same space. Share opinions, new apps you love, connect with teams and bloggers and maybe even learn something new!
The event will be all by donation with proceeds going to @fiveholeforfood, an amazing canadian example of the power of sport and social media!
